The project is delivered in the framework of the FAIR-IMPACT EU project (GA 101057344), supported by its 2nd Open Call Route 2 support.

The aim of the project is to improve PID support into the Hungarian National Data Repository, known as ARP (https://researchdata.hu/en), which has been operational since March 2024. The ARP initiative is devoted to furnishing Hungarian researchers with a comprehensive and adaptable data repository service, capable of accommodating all research disciplines practiced in Hungary.

In the project we carried out the compliance assessment for ARP repository, using the EOSC Compliance Toolkit (CAT). Based on the findings, we have developed and improved our system, and also made suggestions on how to improve CAT usability.

We have created scripts to be able to compare the status of registered PIDs, as to how they are stored within the ARP repository and B2Handle services. We have checked the operability of PIDs as well, and the created scripts will enable us to regularly monitor the status of our registered PIDs.

We have set up a new page that gives information on how to use PIDs (https://researchdata.hu/pid-policy) . On this page we describe specific information related to PIDs and their usage, and we clarify ARP tasks and responsibilities in this field.
